This is the last picture I took of you. You were cleaning up the yard while I was cleaning my room. You had cut down the trees that were over my bedroom window before Sandy hit, but the cleanup took months. Every now and then, I would catch glimpses of you and ask you if you needed anything. The lighting was perfect for a contrast shot, but I never got the chance to show you this one.

Every time I passed by this ride, I thought to myself, “…next time. And as the season started to wind down I would think, “…next summer”.
