I think that happiness is overrated. Only a few people can actually say that they’ve achieved true happiness. I’ve never been happy with my life or who I am as a person. I’m appreciative for my life and where I’ve come from. Maybe it’s because I haven’t done anything groundbreaking yet. But I may never achieve “true happiness”, but I’ll always be appreciative for what I have.

Every generation has their music that the older generation looks to as immoral. We have our raunchy pop and rap that our parents hate. They don’t call the ‘noise’ that we listen to as music. Then I realize that our parents went through the same thing too. Our parents listened to rock, folk music, pop, and blues. When they were listening to it, they’re parents thought that it was horrible music and was a bad influence for kids. And when our grandparents listened to jazz, it was ruining their youth. But now good music is viewed as what are parents and grandparents listened to. I wonder if one day people will look back and think of Soulja Boy and T-Pain and think of them as revolutionaries of our generations music. Random thoughts.

I hate when I’m watching Sweet 16 and then there’s always a couple of kids who go, “Yo, I heard Beyonce and Lil’ Wayne was showing up”. Stop souping things up, Beyonce has better things to do then to show up at a 16 year-old’s party. Just saying.

So the Olympics haven’t even started yet and there’s already been bad news.  A luger from Georgia passed away during a training run. Lindsey Vonn injured her shin, she’s been training for the Olympics for years. It’s sad to see great athletes get injured.
